brooklyn curator/photographer molly surno (who took the photo used on our
current mixtape cd) is having her first Cinema 16 show in LA next week!
Cinema 16 (the nyc based film society founded in 1947) was revived by molly a couple years ago. She pairs a series of short silent films with a live score by local musicians.
previously only held in new york, this is the first show in LA. This particular program will show a series of films based on the california landscape by some of the masters of the 20th century experimental cinema.. transformed by the musical collective Lucky Dragons.
