what it feels like for a girl

we watched the cement garden last night. charlotte gainsbourg killed it, even at 22 years old. there's just something about the way she moves and speaks that is so beautiful. this movie is based on the novel, and directed by charlotte's uncle. we enjoyed the movie and even jack's creepy adolescent character.
see her singing a song from her second album (the first one was put out 20 years ago), 5:55, here.
it would be great to see her as the new face for balenciaga.
i still think that her best performance was in one of my favorite movies, science of sleep.

Yeah that was a great performance. She was also Jane in the movie adaptation of Jane Eyre.

That's one of my favorite movies! I love Charlotte, and her album is amazing...subtle and lovely, just like her :)
