THE THREE QUARTER LENGTH.

Hannah just whipped up a couple new skirts in a great 3/4 length. She already fixed your "what can I wear under that sheer skirt" problem and attached built-in little shorts! Available in white crochet or black burnout paisley velvet. Both fabrics are very limited.

SILVER THREADS

The lovely artist and music lover Jess Rotter made some Linda Ronstadt wood burn pieces exclusively for us! She made a series of these pieces in collaboration with Nightwood. Read more about the original sinette here.
Here's Jess surrounded by wood at her opening installation at the Nightwood pop-up shop.
Here are some photos from a 2004 Architectural Digest article I recently came across about Linda's amazing pink Mediterranean style house in Tucson.

NICOLE TRUNFIO

Introducing Nicole Trunfio jewelry. We received the very last pieces that were made for this goddess jewelry collection, so quantities are very limited. I spotted one of these necklaces in New York last year and almost died holding it up to myself.. it made the most amazing jangling sound (I'm actually louder than Hannah's bangles when I wear it). Nicole is also an Australian supermodel..here she is modeling that amazing Alexander McQueen snake dress.
And in her own designs:

ANTIQUES OF THE FUTURE

Introducing Aesa's 2011 collection, Hesperides. Named after the mythical island of Hesperides where nymphs guarded a garden of infinite possibilities. In ancient Greek mythology, Gods and Goddesses would visit the island before they had to preform a new feat, to be bestowed by the nymphs with new powers to help them with their task.
Hand carved sculptural forms, romantic pearl clusters, and ribbon-like medallions and rings. And our favorite, The Medusa Necklace.
Greek mythology is filled with stories of tragic fate and mortals receiving the wrath of the gods. Similar are the stories behind Medusa, one of the most recognized mythological beings. She was said to have originally been the most beautiful woman of ancient Greece whose crowning glory was her long magnificent locks of golden hair. One day while the beautiful virgin was worshiping at the temple of Athena, Poseidon found her and ravished her. Athena, already jealous of Medusa's beauty, was outraged that her sacred temple was violated. She punished Medusa by turning her beautiful hair into slithering snakes and made her into an ugly monster that could turn men to stone with one look. Medusa became famed as the creature that, if killed, would denote the murderer a hero. Many attempts and stone corpses lay in ruins where she lived. Finally, after visiting Hersperides, Perseus went to Medusa and killed her in her sleep by cutting off her head.

A little personal behind the music. My boyfriend John used to be really into greek mythology (talk about sexual). Here's a pic of him when he was about 20 years old.. you can see his medusa tattoo. Unfortunately, it has been covered since then. He might make me delete this very very soon.

THE 3200 PHAETHON ASTROID IS FALLING APART

The Geminid meteor shower is at it's peak tonight! (Go outside at midnight and look low northeast). On the night of the best meteor shower of the year seems like the right time to tell you something.
It's true, we're getting the new Spring Pamela Love collection early, this week. Pamela was inspired by "the astrological lunar cycles, the mixing of the alchemical elements and the ethnic traditions of India and Africa." It should be up on the site by Thursday. That is, if Hannah doesn't make me go to the bar on Wednesday.
