my travels

i went to milwaukee for 26 hours. after bikram and boats, i went out for a night cap and played cards with the women in my family. milwaukee has the best bars. and houses. if the winters weren't so retarded we might have moved back by now.

they have kids. the cutest kids with the best names: olive and archer. olive wears a pair of tough motorcycle boots to counteract the white feminine dress.archer decided on an ac/dc shirt paired with some grandpa madras shorts and a black watch. he also threw in one single black fingerless glove to wear with dinner. olive loves cats.i liked this corner of the house:

lonely hearts

so excited to see the only two pieces i ordered from lonely hearts in this months RUSSH magazine. the silk cut out bra in nude and black:and this silk dress in blush.fucking gorgeous! these will both arrive in october.

paso picacho

we went camping near julian.. and i decided camping is my new favorite hobby instead of room service.

john instantly turned into asshole stepdad when putting up our new tent. (threw poles and said 'son of a bitch' at least once)

the trees were all black and charred from the fires a few years ago, but the forest floor was full of new green growth.

the two drunk dudes got us lost on azalea glen loop trail.

this is the nest i found and stole from the woods
casey totally "saw a mountain lion" in the middle of the night when no one else was around.

before we left i fed the last of our bread to a scurry of squirrels and a descent of woodpeckers.

it was so much fun. now i'm just waiting for the rattray's (the master campers) to tell us where we're gonna go next.

vince the cat

a customer of ours has been helping out our cat friends by capturing, neutering, and releasing feral cats in los angeles. she recently came across this amazing guy, who turned out to not be feral. he's super affectionate and wants to be loved, and was obviously someones pet in the past. he's the sweetest cat she's ever encountered. he had a painful infection in his leg which has been treated and is healing nicely. vince is now looking for a home.. if you or anyone you know is looking for a new friend, please consider vince.

san francisco

we took a road trip to see my SF BFF, tiff. hannah's wearing her newest purchase, the amazing silver talon cuff.

we stayed at the clift where there was a lot of dramatic lighting and kooky furniture.

room service is my new favorite hobbythe red clift elevator that looks like a smoky sweaty dance club

this might have been when tiff killed her finger off and called 911 and almost died.

han got to ride the bike since she had the highest heelsmy fav part of the trip was finally seeing where tiff works, crown point press. they use all of the old printmaking techniques, and it's all produced at the gallery.

hearing tiff talk about this art made me want to buy every piece. even these plain blocks of color.hannah was so excited she immediately got straight to work. just kidding she hates art.

the last supper was at delfina's. the best pizza i've ever had besides for manhattan in encinitas. saying goodbye at delfina's was way too hard, so we kidnapped tiff. on the way down we learned a lot of stuff on hannah's internet phone. like the names of all of the different gatherings of animals. here are some good ones:
