purple zipper dress

chrissie from sophomore just told me that they're making the zip dress in purple too, so i just added it as an option to prebook. also, she just had a nice write up in new york magazine.

shade of winter

grey suede lattice platform booties just added to the shop yesterday. pair with thick black tights to wear in this exciting change of season. i love the strong curved heel! when i think real real hard sometimes i can see the future of the items i carry. i see these worn with dark burgundy tights and a red dress at a holiday party in tennessee. or maybe it's kentucky, i can't really tell.
this grey coat is so soft and comfy it's re-goddamn-diculous. it makes me want to move back to milwaukee for the winter. johnny friendly coat by she-bible.

boot crush continues

my gucci studded boots (that i don't own) were spotted on jakandjill today. us ladies went shopping on sunday and i was in that INSANE total shop mode with no logic getting in my way. we walked into the gucci store just so i could "try on" these boots. morrissey just happened to be playing, and i took that as a sign from the crystals around my neck telling me that everything is going to be ok if i needed to purchase these boots.

they were out of stock. and i left the store $2000 richer. i'm pretty sure everything is still going to be ok.

a desert romance

john and i took a magical road trip to the desert.

we stopped in idyllwild for lunch

john even offered to stop at every thrift store on the way! it was pure heaven... crap piled everywhere for days.
