what it feels like for a girl

we watched the cement garden last night. charlotte gainsbourg killed it, even at 22 years old. there's just something about the way she moves and speaks that is so beautiful. this movie is based on the novel, and directed by charlotte's uncle. we enjoyed the movie and even jack's creepy adolescent character.

i still think that her best performance was in one of my favorite movies, science of sleep.

harmony korine's new film

we've been waiting for mister lonely to come out in local theaters but it looks like we'll have to start waiting for the dvd instead. harmony korine directed and/or wrote the screenplay for kids, gummo, julien donkey boy and ken park. they all make you wanna take a rape shower afterwords, but are still must-see's.

the morrissey video for his new single "all you need is me" is finally out! our friend freckle face (lee) actually worked on this video last month and i was forbidden to blog about it. i've really grown to love this song, maybe because it was so exciting that day we watched the top secret footage of the million takes, or maybe just cause it's a good song.
i like this video cause it captures a lot of morrissey's charming facial expressions.
